Last week, Mr. Krisda Utamote, President of the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), along with Mr. Sanchai Noombunnam, General Manager of Informa Markets Thailand, opened an exhibition of electric vehicle innovations. and the iEVtech 2024 Academic Seminar, a grand exhibition of electric vehicle innovations held every year. And this year marks the 9th time that the academic seminar on electric vehicles has been organized. It is presented under the concept of Global EV Industry Transformation Towards Decarbonization. International cooperation to reduce carbon emissions sustainably which was held from 3-5 July 2024 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center

And on this same occasion The Thai Electric Vehicle Association A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has also been signed between the public charging station network partners and various agencies under the name of the "Charging Consortium" to promote connectivity and shared use of each station network. The objective of the alliance of public electric charging station networks, the “Charging Consortium, is to jointly develop the network structure to be able to use electric charging services in every network and have a standardized service system. You can use tools such as cards or QR codes ,programs, applications on mobile phones or other devices to be able to charge electricity across networks without being limited to the network in one network only and jointly develop connections System for collecting service fees from electric vehicle users using various network services that can manage both income and expenses for the business partner network fairly It also cooperates to exchange information in the Charging Consortium, helping to collect the latest status information and coordinates of public electric charging stations from all camps located in various locations in Thailand on one website. This will save electric vehicle users time searching for charging stations. The highlight discussion of the event was on the topic of Global EV Industry Transformation Towards Decarbonization. That same day The Thai Electric Vehicle Association Honored to host the ASEAN EV Roundtable discussion in collaboration with the ASEAN Electric Vehicle Association (Asian Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations - AFEVA) network, consisting of electric vehicle associations in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. To discuss guidelines for international cooperation such as connecting charging systems across national networks and various safety standards. On the last day of the seminar on July 5, 2024, there was a seminar "EVAT Tech Forum" on the topic "Know before using electric vehicles" invited by the Thai Electric Vehicle Association.
